Default crank but no start

so during a heavy storm, i drove through a deeper than i thought puddle and sucked up a good amount of water. (Boo CAI) Car died and didnt want to try to start too much. Got it towed home

I removed spark plugs and sucked out a bunch of water with a tube and syringe. Then cranked without wires/plugs getting more water out. Changed oil with the intention of running it and then changing again, but it wont start. It will crank now but wont start. I dont think there is much water left in there. What could it be?

Im thinking it could be rusted spark plugs but what else should i check?

any suggestions or tips would be great

spark plugs shouldnt rust that quick. if theyre wet though they can arc without firing the cylinder.

Check your distributor (cap, rotor, etc), and yes maybe you might want to install new plugs and wires, or borrow a friends just to see...if you have friends.

HYDRO- LOCKED ! remove the intake and then check ur intake manifold, 5$ says ther's water still in there u should get all the water out. also, try to manually crank your car to make sure your rods are fine. if you try to manually crank it and it doesn't move.....GG
