Whats the piping size for stock R's exhaust piping....any difference between us and japan R sizes?

 

Nobody knows there exhaust size.

 

I did a search for "exhaust" and it came back with "205 threads found"

Btw its variable from 1 7/8 to 2 1/4, due to bottle necks, bends and flanges.

 

Ahh I see, the point of 2.5" collector and small exhaust is?

the smallest part of the exhaust comes down to about 2.25 inch. (...approximately)

Nope, The biggest part is 2.25 inch (57 mm) OD. The smallest is about 51 mm OD. And some bottlenecks are 54 mm OD.

 

There is no point!! Because the stock collector is 2"!!!!!

 

So if the japanese itr have 2.5" collector did honda atleast give them a better exhaust then the american itr's?

 

nope... here is what i've gathered on this topic... if i'm wrong someone please correct me.
JDM Exhaust system:
JDM 4-1 header with 2.5" collect
JDM ITR Cat with 2.5" Inlet...but the outlet is the same size as the USDM b-pipe
(the JDM cat is shorter... so the JDM bpipe is longer to accomodate for it.. I believe it's essentially the same as a USDM GSR bpipe??)
JDM ITR Muffler is the same as the USDM

 

Actually the worst bottle neck is at the B pipe flange is 1.9" OD (48mm) with an ID of 1.75" (44.5mm).

 

Oh yeah of course, I forgot I removed my worst bottleneck.....
