2008 Motor Trend Auto Show (56K WARNING).
My roommate and I went down to the Motor Trend Auto Show yesterday and took some pictures. Unfortunately I left my tripod and flash at home (I know way to go huh?) so some of the pictures are a little blurry, Sorry.
I have high-res versions of all the images. If you want one, just PM me the file name(s) you would like.
Hope you guys enjoy!
Suzuki's new prototype 300HP turbocharged "ZUK", This thing was really cool with it's sport bike inspired design (complete with Hayabusa exhausts). I tried to get some shots of the fully caged interior but the douche refused to open the hatch.

A turbo RSX-S that was at the show

New Charger "Super Bee"

This is JEEP's prototype "Hurricane". There was no rep to talk to about it, but it appears to have a HEMI in the front, AND THE REAR! you can see both manifolds in the pictures below. This thing must be a blast to drive. I want to know what the aircraft throttle controls are for?

Honda's S2000 CR. The CR is a rarely seen race built version of the S2k, I'd love to have one of these in the garage!

Honda Civic Si, Too many people were huddling around this car to get a full body shot...
But it's just a standard Si so you've probably seen one already. This car has one of the most comfortable interiors... I've got to get a pair of those seats installed in my Integra. The person pictured in the car is my roommate who went with me to the show.

Ferrari F430 Spider. I love Ferrari's Engine bays, just works of art.

Aston Martin DB9

A bunch of classic Corvettes were at the show.

Lotus Elise. I really want to see what these things handle like. They are so small in person.

Ducati's new 1098s. This was the only bike at the show

What I want in my Intgra... (engine from an RDX Turbo)

Chevy's 2009 Camaro. I actually really like it, The rear is a little iffy though.

More Classic cars I knew some of you would want to see. Someone post up and let me know what they are.

The mustangs were out full force today.

Ya know, I've always wonder why Suzuki can make such badass bikes and such bland cars. Why have they never offered a cheap car with a powerful, high revving motor in it? Their little sedan is actually kinda good looking now, but why not give it some power? Their advertising often trades on the fact that they make motorcycles too, so they know it's a good idea, but wtf.

I actually thought that was the sickest looking S2K I've seen. But to each his own.
Suzuki's ZUK is a SX4 which is already in production. but doesn't look anywhere near as nice without the modifications.

I was at this show Friday morning. Was better than most years. One thing you didn't mention or picture was that the "elise" was in fact a Exige S. The new supercharged version. You can see the S on the front fenders. Also the roof scoop goes straight into the top mounted intercooler. I think that was my favorite car to see. Great pics though!
