Default How do i keep my car clean in the winter?

Well, This is my first winter in PA, since my car is a TX car I'd like to keep it rust free. buying a beather isn't an option, I'm on an extremely limited budget since i'm a student. I've heard of removing the sideskirts since thay can hold salt and moisture behind them. and to basicly everytime its nice enough to, just take it out and clean all the nooks and crannys clear of salt. any other advise?

Sorry if this is a repost, i did a search.

hey i'm from mn and we also have salt on the road but I think taking off the side skirt isn't a good idea. Just washing your car weekly at a do-it-yourself carwash will be better just make sure you spray water under the wheel wells and underbody.
