There were RHD 6th gens (THEY'RE NOT ALL EKs) in various places in the world including Ireland, the United Kingdom, Japan and parts of Africa.

So yes, there were RHD 6th gen Civics. You will have to contact an importer or a seller of imported products to find one, or wait until you are no longer a trial member and make a thread in the Honda-Tech MarketPlace.

Keep in mind that this is an extensive project and can become quite expensive if you do a full RHD conversion.

-- Hatch Release on other side (if equipped)
-- Hood release on other side
-- Fuel door release on other side
-- Firewall and various parts associated with firewall
-- Roof grab rail handle on other side (some cars overseas have up to three though)
-- Certain optional parts such as a center console ashtray or audio console (RHD is constructed slightly different and will not fit LD dashes very well)
-- Wipers and wiper cowl
-- Sun visors
-- Power door locks and window controls on other side (if equipped)
-- Door open alarm on other side
-- Driver's seatbelt unclasped warning/light wiring on other side
(I'll add anything I missed to the above list.)

You can put JDM parts on your car and still not inconvenience yourself with a RHD conversion (not to mention, think of what else you could buy).

Why JDM anyway?

you can purchase a front clip from hmotorsonline.com

or you can get the complete job done for 2000.00 parts and labor it is a full firewall conversion not a hack job which wasnt bad i got it done at tunerz image in chino, ca. it took about 2 weks to do , ive dont ehm myself it was worth the money paying though. they do a full firewasll conversion withthe motor in the car still thats why the labor cost is low.

i have a rhd ek hatch and it was my personal choice to convert it so dont worry about what anyone else has to say about doing one, i have a type r in mine so i got power to back it and unlike on here anyone i run into on the streets gives me the upmost credit for my build or thumbs up while im driving. never once have i got a hater or someones negative opinon on the strets its always online someone has something negative to say. so my opinon i say do it if you get the chance and have the money. To me its all about being a lil different then the average ek out there which i am

well im in cali and there pretty bad here with alot of things but cops have never pulled me over nore higway patrol, my car is a u.s. car and its registered already and has tags so theres nothing to get approved, its fully insured and i have no problem with cops there not worry about pulling me over to give me a ticket cause im right hand drive , to me that would be stupid. it is questionable if you had no plates then i could see cause maybe the car was imported and isnt supposed to be on the streets but mines is all 100% legal highway patrol even re-stamed my vin tag on the otherside of the dash as long as i had the reciept for the conversion and all i do is keep my vin that i cut out my old firewall in the car, just in case they want to verify.

ive ran into many cops and higway patrol and they do nothing but im assuming that you have plates and reg. stickers they mauy even run my plates to verify that the car is what the plates say but my license is clear and its insured so theres no problems. Theres correct and incorrect ways in doing this changeover this way is the more expensive way but liek i said im cleared with hwy patrol not that i needed there permission but to have them restamp my vin in.

Your car is not "real" JDM until you have these:

I think converting it to a RHD is cool, just be prepared for problems. Make sure you know what you want and finish what you start. It sucks to start on a project only to run out of money. Don't let anyone bust your ***** about converting. They know they would rock a RHD convert if they could do it.

i agree with you dont let anyone talk you down it isnt a cheap modification, make sure you 100% of the funds to do it plus extra because you may need lil things they may not come in the clip unlike me the shop that did mine covered parts and labor. coverting is your choice not anybody else.

like i stated on all fourms there always somenoe that has something negative to say about rhd conversions, but when im on the streets all i get is props, not that its the best thing to do to a car but everyones like damn its clean.

YEA ITS TRUE ABOUT PEOPLE TALKING THEIR CRAP OYU KNOW. I ALREADY GET HATED ON BECAUSE OF HOW MY CAR BUT I DONT REALLY CARE YOU KNOW. I WORKED MY *** OFF TO MAKE IT LOOK THE WYA IT LOOKS. I GO TO SHOPS AND I GET PROPS BECAUSE OF HOW IT LOOKS AND CUZ OF MY AGE. BUT RHD CONVERSION IS LIKE THE REASON I GOT THIS EK. I GOT A MOTOR ON THE WAY BUT I WANNA DO IT ALL AT ONE TIME. BY THE WAY MAN UR HATCHIE LOOKS CLEAN.
