Ive read the hardtop manual over and over and i cant get my hardtop defroster to work when i connect the wires behind the drivers seat. Is there another wire I dont know about? Is there a wire that needs to be disconnected from the softtop? Could my hardtop wire be faulty? Thank you for any suggestions!!! Btw I have a 2002 S2k if that makes any difference, and my softtop defrost works fine. Thx!

 

Make sure the hardtop harness is seated well or connected just above the driver's side side catcher.

 

first id check the fuses,

does the defrost button lights up when u try to turn it on?

check to see if the swith is plugged in and make sure all the wires are properly connected
