I just bought a 93 accord with a f22a6 I believe...well car runs great but sometimes if u are just crusing and u start accelerating the car has no power at all and won't go anywhere...If I cut the car off then start it back up its fine...no CEL or anything...plugs,wires,vacuum lines,coil are brand new...I'm thinking map sensor but idk any ideas???? Thanks

a more descriptive post could help diagnose your problem easier...

 

um well like I said u can just be crusing at one speed and as soon as u try to speed up its like it isn't getting any fuel...first thought was fuel filter but it doesn't to it all the time??? Any question u have and I can answer for more info?

 

ok it just threw a check engine light...can u check those the same way u do in a civic...under the pass kick panel and stick a paper clip in the DLC and let it blink the code???

 

well that was almost as vague as the first one but heres what id suggest...

did it come with any maitnce book of past repairs ? look over all recpts of prev work if so...

i would obviously start with the basics and go from there

here are some poss probs it could be jst off the top of my head :

throttle cable
air filter
fuel filter
fuel pump
injectors

does it do it at a certain rpm or speed ? have u tried to rev it up in park past when it would normally act up ?

so it is in the same area as the civic and check it the same way correct..

Code 43 is Fuel supply system or your oxygen sensor circuit

 

code 43? hmm i think thats the o2 sensor code isnt it? if it is thats the sae code i threw when my o2 went out... but my car would missfire real bad.. like i would go WOT and it would go nowhere it would feel like it was under a big load and it would missfire like crazy
