How The Hell Do You IM On Here?????

I'm tryin to IM a guy thats parting out a civic (need a 96-00 Black Civic EX 2dr complete driver door inside/out with glass) but it keeps telling me I dont have permission to use instant messages. WTF???? Ant help would be great or even if you have a dorr would be better. Thanks for checking in.
