Stripped SOHC bolt
well i did it instead of using the few snap on or the nice set of craftsman tools i have i picked a cheap socket out of my many good sockets and went to town taking off my cam gear well the POS broke the socket and stripped the SOB to where i cant even get an open box to work on it i dont want to take vice grips to it cus but does anyone know of another way to pull this puppy off of here?

vice grips work.. and go to you local auto zone or advance auto parts.. there are sockets made to take off strpied bolts.. the comein a blue plastic box and they actually work..

the craftsman stripper removal kit works very very well and its only 20 dollars its worth having it in the garage, if not syndacate's idea is great, who cares about the bolt at this point.
