Any performance if i just swap a ITR inake came n ITR intake valve?

Default Any performance if i just swap a ITR inake came n ITR intake valve?

Any performance gain if i just swap a new oem ITR intake cam and new ITR intake valves cause exhaust cam is almost the same as b16a. and running with stock pistons set up.
its for my jdm sir2 engine.thanks

Minimal at best, you'll need to get tuned to really take advantage of them.

i still need to get it tuned even i dont change the compression ratio ?

If you change your cams you need to get it tuned to take full advantage of it.

Think of it logically, what's the use of adding more air (larger lift duration) if you're not also adding more fuel?

I'll math it out for ya:

X air = Y fuel

You put a cam on:
X + 5 air still = Y fuel.

You get it tuned so X + 5 air = Y + 5 fuel.

type r valves are not a strait bolt in for a b16 head.

yes head is the same but the valves are 1mm oversized

I'm pretty sure they are not. I heard of lots of people straight swapping for Type R valves because they're lighter. By the way, valves don't "bolt" in.

they are the same size...

just the shaft is cut on the itr's to make them lighter, some will argue that this makes them weaker...
