Inconsistent prime

Okay, my fuel pump primps loud with a loud "tok" sound sometimes, but sometimes there is no "tok", but I can hear the fuel squirting from the injectors. What is up?

i think its fine.

sometimes mine primes with a really loud humming, and sometimes it just barely hums.

if i turn on my turn signal while its priming it gets loud and quiet with the turn signals

After I wash my car, it primes with th "tok". Definitely not psychological. I am beginning to suspect a grounding problem. Checked the ones in the engine bay and they seem fine. Any others that I overlooked?
