Default VIN Question, am I retarded, or did I get ripped off?

I just bought a 93 Civic SI coupe, or at least I thought I did. I just checked the VIN decoder and according to it I have a CX/EX civic. The first 11 digits are 2HGEJ1154PH. The engine code is D16Z6, which is for an EX/SI. Could the confusion be because it was built in Canada? Or am I just an idiot? I've checked several threads regarding chassis and engine codes, and I just want to make sure sure someone doesn't call me out when I'm finished with it and try to sell it to fund another project. The firewall and dash VINs both match. I'm used to working on domestic cars as I had a Mazda B Series (which is just a Ford Ranger built in Japan) and used to wrench for a Ford dealer, and all these minor variations between Civics are starting to drive me nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Type the full VIN in CARFAX and see what it shows up as.

There's not even a 5th gen Civic Si coupe in the US.

It's not that it was built in Canada, but that it was sold in Canada.

If it were a USDM CX it also wouldn't be a coupe.

So the OP didn't get ripped off. He has an EX (USDM) / Si (Canadian) coupe.
