best full synthetic oil

Redline has some good tech info over at there page, from what i've seen, most race teams use mobil 1. Not too long ago i was at one of the American Lemans series races. The Corvette c-6r, Audi and Panoz all had mobil 1 oil bottles in the pits.
If this thread is to remain open, let's please have it contain some actual explanations, data, and (gasp!) technical discussion regarding oil. Throwing out a bunch of opinions without any substantiation won't provide much benefit to anyone.
this thread is kind of retarded but here's a link with something you can learn

my uncle works at dow. and they test all full synthetic oils. he builds performance domestics and he's used everything from ams oil to royal purple. the best oil they found out was mobil 1 and that is what i use. i put 15w 50 in my turbo vehicle awhile back. now i use 10w 30 in all regular vehicles. works AMAZING and i will never turn back
I really would be inclined to believe vtec about that. I've personally seen too many high end multi million dollar race teams with Mobil 1 bottles in the pits.

thank you sideways. all the oils were broken down and chemically tested. so if that isnt credible enough for you guys i dont know what could be...

well they may use mobile 1 for racing only and are not available to the public, in reality mobile 1 sucks, that's right i say this because they use to be a good oil company until not too long ago they tried to sue castrol oils for not "turely" being synthetic and mobile 1 lost the case. Well because of that mobile 1 is now not using full synthetic oil and is using more of a blend, if you do a search you will find it. And for the future for all you stupid people out there that say oh lucas is bad go check bob the oil guy website out well your stupid, they do not use heat which is a big role obviously in a engine me and alot of people all over use it and claims that they have smoother idle and faster startup times because the oil actually sticks and doesn't drip all into the oil pan. I personally use royal purple because it's a decent brand and it's a fully synthetic unlike mobile 1, i use to use mobile 1 until i found out about them cheaping out because castrol did.
so are u saying, u DO use lucas oil stab?? i bought a 1gallon jug of lucas oil and planning on using it at my next oil change..i'm still going to use mobil 1 just because i want to..but question is, how much lucas oil stab. should i use?? engine only at 95ish k miles..should i use 1 quart lucas oil stab and 3 quarts mobil 1?? that's about 20%..that's wat the lucas bottle said to use..
what about engine with 240,000miles?? how much lucas oil stab should i use on it?? 50/50 mix, is that good to do?? or 40/60..40 being lucas..

where do you live? i would recommend the heavier weigh of oil that mobil 1 makes. the 15w 40 or 50 i believe and they sell it at walmart in the 5 quart containers for like 27 bucks. you want to get a heavier weigh because of the high heat that happens in the turbo changes the viscosity of the oil making it thinner and you want a certain amount of thickness so they dont pass through your rings and therefore cause you to burn oil or there to be a lack of lubrication. its more of an engine saver and will make your engine last longer. and depending on if you have colder weather the difference in weigh will make it less susceptible to viscosity change.

this is a totally different situation. but whatever im not here to change your mind about oil. im just stating the facts and you can make a judgment call from there.

a gimmick. if you want to know what it means in a literal sense just look it up at google.
