Default p06 to stock p28, all i need is the vtec conversion?

Hello, I'm interested in chipping my p06 to a bone stock p28. I'm not interested in running any chipped programs. I need it to be identical to a stock P28. If i were to install the vtec conversion kit from xenocron..

http://www.xenocron.com/install/11f0.htm

will that make it identical to a stock P28? HOw about the fuel maps and rev limit? Will this modified p06 match that of a stock p28? thanks

You will still need the p28 fuel/ign maps for vtec. Might as well chip it too, they can send you a chip with p28 base program for $15.

Another question is i have a p28 that has been chipped and has the chip 74 HC373 on it that was not there originally from a p28. If i were just to disconnect the jumper J1, will that make everything back to stock, even if that chip 74HC373 is still on it and the R54, C51, C52 still on it? thanks

well that's the problem, i have a base map p28 chip from them, but its not base map. It burns more fuel than a stock p28 ecu would. I just want to convert it back to a STOCK p28.

Oh ok, just cut jumper "J1" then and you'll be good. But they're other reasons for burning more fuel too, like bad o2 possibly.

i was watching that. Around 1:40, he mentions the option on removing the two transistors. Why would anybody want to remove those transistors? thanks

He mentioned it as a option b/c its a automatic ecu, and those are the sector for the automatic trans. Its basically to make it identical to a man. p28. You dont have to though. It wont make a difference.
