Default balanced crank

if i have a balanced crank and i want to put new pistons on the rods do i have to re-balance my crank or does it just stay as is???? and what do they mean by balanced crank and what do they do to it? pics???

no u dont. and balanced means that the crank will spin better which means it will rev smother like a type r kinda of....
