i think its called titanium chroming..please let me know if you know a shop that can do this for me im located in so cal near torrance thanks

Why dont you call up Makin Industries and see if they can tell you. Although I think that Volk Racing isn't going to let out their little secrets.

i posted this at your other thread but.. here


i think that process would be quite expensive. Its called electroplating where the metal gets current passed through it.. it causes it to be very strong. The reason why rays did this to the rim was of course for protection from the elements, curbs, corrosion etc. The look is an added plus. The reason why I say it may be expensive is because titanium electroplating is recent development.

yup, and also prob not a thing most "wheel shops" can do unless they have special equipment...
