If im understanding you correctly, you want to know the width of the 45 deg. seat angle. 1mm/.040 will work for a stock-ish rebuild.

there really isnt a spec for the face of the valve. Lap it in to see where your actual contact is between the seat and valve, and make sure you have enough margin left over.

Do a 1.2mm wide seat FTW instead of 0.040"

I usually do .050 on exh and anywhere from .030-.050 on int depending on the app and how often they want to freshen the head.
I've seen a head from D. *** that had a .020 or .5mm seat on int and I think exh also for a street head. That's alittle thin for my taste on a street head, but I wouldn't have any problem doing it on a race only head.

Depends on pound out. 0.020 at the beginning of the weekend and pounds out to 0.030 at the end of the weekend depending on various factors such as rpm, cams, springs etc.

You gotta love seeing all those "ported" heads with 0.120 wide pounded out exhaust seats and then lapped to 0.130. I am sure you've seen those.

Yeah usually on the 2 valve stuff with much bigger valves then a honda. The air cooled Porsche heads usually need new seats after a season w/50ish degree seats.
