C-clips on Drum Brake Shoes
I have been trying to get the c-clip that connects the drum brake shoe to the e-brake lever on my 91 dx for about an hour now without any signs of progress. Any help before I burn my car to the ground?

Those can be a pain..
Side cutters and needle nose vice grips can help
and if you have any external snap ring pliers
sometimes you can use them to expand the inside of the clip.
You are actually supposed to replace them if removed
so if you can find another you may have to destroy it to
get it off..

Ok guys. The way to get these off is to just rip them off with a pair of diagonal pliers. It takes about two seconds. The hassle of getting two new clips is nothing in comparison to the hassle of wrestling with them for 2 hours with no progress.
