NOTICE: THESE ARE GOIN ON A BRAND NEW 95MM EAGLE STROKER KIT
ON A GSR MOTOR
REASON IM ASKING IS CUZ I CANT FIGURE OUT OR EITHER IM DOING SOMETHIN WRONG AS FAR AS DOIN THE MATH FOR THE HONDA BEARINGS FORMULA

Don't know anything about King race bearings, but if they're anything like ACL races you don't want them. ACL's are meant to run about 100 miles (literally), and then the coating come off. Then you're expletiveed, and say hello to a hole in your block.

just go to honda with your color codes and order the right colors for you engine... you cant beat honda OEM manufactured bearings.

say wha??? so all these people using acl's in their street engines running thousands of miles are just getting lucky?

Im guessing you had a bad experience with either you or someone putting together a block and didnt do it right and blaming it on the bearings. Only difference between ACL race and regular is the coating correct. There is a "X" (i believe its X) version which gives you a much looser clearance. I have never had a problem or seen a problem with ACL bearings.
I say go with regular ACL, no real need for race bearings. And be careful of Eagle cranks, ive seen some nasty pics of them shattering.

good to hear that sounds way better lol...

ACL's are great beraings, thats why many re-builders as well as performance engine builders use them. Not to mention their wide spread name in the industry. I just put a set in my mine, and just went over 100 miles with no prolbem ,lol.
yeah oem or acl ftw but that eagle crank id be worried about b/c ive seen a pic on hear were a honda block was split in 2 piece between cylinder 3/4 aegle rods r great for the money but cranks... not me

Yeah I do... The machine shop that installed my bearings said that the clearences were good on the clevites. Clevites have different bearing clearence than Honda does. Acording to the manual for a H22 my clevites bearing clearence's are junk. There is a service level on our motors and with clevites im passed the service limit

Service limits are written with stock style rebuilds in mind. Those limits are for production engines designed to have a 30k warranty and go 150k without any major mechanical issues. Ive build many engines with bearing clearances past the "service limit" marks. They usually make the most power.
I would use ACL bearings because i heard nothing but good things about them. Use a plastiguage to spec it out. If any bearings falls out of spec replace it with OEM Honda bearings. Alot cheaper than going to buy all OEM Honda bearings. But thats just from my experience
Really? Because its pretty loose I was talking to another machine shop and he said that they were a little on the loose side. I was gonna pay another 200 bucks for them to put oem bearings in plus the cost of the bearings. I just want things to be perfect Im gonna be around 475 at the wheels and i just want things done right.
just spec it out yourself and replace any ACL bearings thats out of spec with OEM Honda bearings. I did that many times and it has more than 10k miles on it and still running great. but if you arent sure what you are doing i would suggest taking it to the machine shop and let them worry about it. But many times i wouldnt have a problem with ACL bearings unless the crank been resurface and micropolished. Then it wouldnt fall into specs.
