Hey guys i just wanted your opinions on what would look better on my 97 EJ8.The current color is OEM Cypress Green Pearl.My tail lights are broken and need new ones but cant decide which would look better on my car.Currently its stock but i will be putting some black 15" rims,JDM black headlights on it.So with that said here is what i have been looking at.

both aren't bad..if i HAD to choose one id choose the first set...not the darker ones, better to be completely visible imo, they look better and they almost look like stock 99-00 ex/si taillights.

Yes thats true but... dont you think theyll look funky(SI stock looking ones)with everything else being sort of black.Also i have to go to the DMV and they have to inspect my car thats why i need new tail lights.Do you think the dark ones would pass the DMV test?

 

i dont know..i would see it as limiting the effectiveness of the taillight, kind of like how people put that extremely dark tinted plastic covers over headlights..if you have them on during the night you will get pulled over...at least in NY/NJ

 

doesnt look that dark to me . I mean im going by what would look dope on my car with its stock color.

 

The first (non smoked) red clears would be great with that color.
