Default ls intake

i have a b20b block b16 head ls tranny with some obd1 intake manifold. everything is obd2 on my car besides the intake. should i be running the stock ls manifold cuz it has bigger openings?

you should be using the b16 intake mani. Thats what I did.. but last time I checked b16 is vtec.. the normal ls intake mani is non vtec.. so I dont think they should match up anyways.

what do you mean i wasnt sure if people just used their stock ls manifold on a b20 swap

maybe for a straight b20, but if you have a b16 head there is no reason to attempt to swap to the LS intake manifold

reason for doing so if you have straight b20 is because of the height of the OE b20 intake manifold obstructing closure of the hood

by the way, you should ditch the LS tranny and get something shorter geared

The intake you have should be fine. A ls intake manifold won't even line up with the b16 studs anyway...

yeah the kid i bought it from said it was a gsr tranny but i didnt know anythin about hondas then. mine has bad synchros i think cuz it grinds gears at higher rpm's. any idea what a gsr tranny costs
