When you first upload a video clip you will see a text box in your album that says "Video Clip". At this time, video clips cannot be played from the Storage Bin, when in Album View or from My Videos. We are working to restore this function to these sections.
TO DOWNLOAD YOUR VIDEO:
1. Open the album that contains the video clip.
2. You must be in Index View. Click View:Index in the upper right-hand corner of the album view.
3. Click the box that says VIDEO CLIP to download the video to your computer.

NOTE: There may be a thumbnail that can be clicked on to download the video. If no thumbnail is available, there will be a text box which indicates the video file format (for example "MPEG File" ) and says "No preview available".

Depending on how the file associations have been set on your computer, the clip will either automatically play in your default media player or you will see a dialog box that lets you save the video file to your computer. You can also save the file by right-clicking on the thumbnail and selecting "Save Target As...".

If you are in Index View and the text box that says VIDEO CLIP is not clickable, then the video clip you uploaded is either corrupt, not in the proper format, or there is a backlog of video clips waiting to be processed.

The quality of your viewing experience will depend upon the size of the video clip and the speed of your internet connection. A 15 second MPEG video downloaded through a broadband connection such as T1 will in many cases actually appear faster than streaming video. The same clip downloaded through a dialup connection will obviously take longer.

We are continuing to work on restoring the video streaming feature.
