replace the Acura with Honda after JDM Conversion.
Okay, i am getting my car back from the body shop in about 3 weeks. I was lookin around online and i stumbled on a thread that was talking about removing the " ACURA" emblem on the rear hatch. My car will be coming out with the JDM front end conversion so all the ACURA ***** gotta go. I was thinking about the JDM steering wheel but thats the last thing on my mind. The bigger the wheel, the less turns it takes to rotate the wheels lock to lock. Anyways, The front Acura emblem is going to be gone. Its going to be replaced by the Red "H". Now, the only thing left is the rear. I was wondering if i can get a " honda" badge for the upper rear emblem on the hatch that will fit the holes without mods. I really don't feel like doing anymore body work. I need to spend more on the engine but its going to look really ugly if i have the red A in the back plus the Acura badge still on there. Suggestions or pics guys??

The bigger the wheel, the less turns it takes to rotate the wheels lock to lock.
The bigger the wheel, the farther the distance the outside of the wheel moves from lock-to-lock. The number of revolutions the wheel makes is depedent on where the rack stops. Besides the OEM JDM wheel (SRS or not) is $$$! I think they're the same size as ours anyway...

I have a HONDA emblem from a 90-91 Accord on my hatch. I'm not sure if they had pins on them or not, but mine did not have pins when I got it. I just stuck a big piece of emblem tape on it and it's not going anywhere.

Wow, so it was on an accord huh? Thats the thing, i live in the midwest, we got mad ricers that will take anything that says acura on it. Esp a " red " emblem. Its gonna look retarded as heck with the Acura on the Back so i wanted to change it. Anyone know if the pins line up with the holes or another car i can squeeze it off from?

UKDM Honda emblem works great, but it doesn't fill the holes. There are no pins on the emblem, so you have to make sure you cover up the OEM holes really good.

If you want to go "true JDM" or something closer, have the body shop blank out the holes, as the JDM ITRs are just "blank" with no lettering/badge in that area at all.
That's what I would do, if I had a JDM front.. I decided to spend my $$ on the house instead!

My UKDM Emblems in the OEM packaging had pins on the back and filed the holes just fine.

Well guys, so far i've been gettin answers about the UKDM one. Well, true JDM or not, it all comes down to your budget. I don't have that far of an extent on my budget. I think i might just find a Honda tag to put on. Maybe even the DC5 Integra tag, anything that covers up the hole. It looks a bit ricey but i don' think rice has anything to do with " OEM" stuff. I do'nt know. Anyone know any places where i can find those pieces?? i am very thankful for all the posts that were made to this thread and i do appreciated the help very much. Thanks Boys!

I suppose I misunderstood. I thought we were talking about the actual badges. I used the "HONDA" badge from a 1991-1992 Accord. It did not line up exactly. Not sure UKDM Integras have this "Honda" on them but JDM's don't.

Don't buy the "HONDA" badge from inline four.. It is shitty! You need to get the UKDM HONDA badge, which has no black in the background, it is simply silver. Check it out on my ride, looks at lot better and is only ~$15...
