im with 2 wheel. Im glad the OP doesnt live near me. I can just about bet he has never been to a driving school and has never had his car that fast before. I dont know his car but it is also very possible he is on tires not rated for those speeds or old/under performing suspension. Either way you look at it, anyone and everyone on that road at that time were in danger.

grow some ***** lol. I don't think you should put other people in danger but if the roads are clear and you KNOW there is noone there and you put your self in danger then so be it.

Personally i've had mine way past 125. i had the speedo pegged at the end of 4th. So in 5th I would guess I was doing 135-140 in a gsr swapped del sol. and yes my tires are great! my suspension is great! so my car can handle it.

(performed on a closed course by professional driver) <<< LOL

Keeping speeding to a minimum on public streets. I personally barely EVER even go into Vtec during the week, I save my bullets to where it counts, the track. Anyways, if u really MUST risk yourself, then please make sure theres NOONE else in the street. I read a LOT here in H-T and I've read quite a few crash stories. Anyways, thats my opinion. . . may the grip be with you.

Oh sure, so the person that decides the same thing just ahead of you wrecks in the middle of the freeway and you plow into them, causing a horrible pile-up.. Or you blow out a few tires and wreck -- a brand new expensive tire can blow just as easily as a well-worn cheapo tire. Any part of your vehicle could fail, and at those speeds you're pretty much expletiveed.

I think the limiter is at 127. Whether your motor gets there or not is a different story. Remember most the stock spedo's are not to accurate especially in the higher speed ranges.

Man I didn't know this board was full of angels that never speed or had "fun" on a isolated road. 122 is not safe but stop acting like you all are gods. Throw those stones...

You're right. . . but we need to do our part and discourage it, to each other and to ourselves. Between discouraging it, or ENCOURAGING it, I believe what has been done here to be the lesser of two evils. . .

HEY, THAT'S MY LINE ON YOUTUBE ON MY STREET VIDEOS!!!! LMFAO!!!

yeah, if the freeway is empty or roadway and you want to risk your own life then expletive it go ahead! But not in traffic or residential areas! I took my SI up to 175mph when it had a gsr built w/turbo pushing 575whp and it was barely at 6k rpm in 5th

yea anytime someone starts one of these threads, everyone with a stick up their *** comes out. We all know not to do it on busy/residential streets and roads but when its all clear for as far as you can see who cares.
