holes in the bumper??
i have noticed more and more crx's (and drag cars in general) the 2 or 3 inch holes that are cut horizontally along the bottom of the bumper...
what's the point in this??

its pretty damned simple aerodynamics... air will get trapped behind the back bumper from under the car.. the holes let that air escape. if it didn't help the pros wouldn't be doing it..

While it is definitely ricetastic, it can shave off a very small amount of time on a drag car. If you're looking to do 8 second quarter miles then I would whip out the dremel.
If you aren't running sub 12 second times I wouldn't waste my time with it though.
You'd see more benefit from an under-car airdam anyway to divert the air around that area; the old Moogen kits had a front dam like this for the engine bay, I don't know if there was one in the rear though (not that it really needs one that badly).
