I have a problem with my 92 hatch cx and I thought I'd ask you car guru's here, since whenever I ask any questions any where else I get directed here.
anyway, here's my problem.
My cars coolant keeps leaking into the inside on the pass. side ALL over the carpet
I thought at first it might be water, but then we looked closer and noticed it was green + it's kinda greasy and leaves an oily residue (on my girlfriends purse)
My friend thinks there might be a leak in a radiator hose, but my dad thinks the coolant is leaking through the heater.
Any help would be SUPER

I had the same problem man, It's your heater core. It more then likely took a crap on you and needs to be replaced. It cost around 80$ at a local parts store and you need to pull your dash.

Is there any DIY on how to do it? or could someone help me out please?
Does that have anything to do with the amount of heat or lack there of I'm getting when I turn on the heat?

Just pick up a repair manual, about 20 bucks but will save you alot of time.

lol i'll pay with monopoly money wicked
and I'll try and not travel long distances with my car, but if it starts to overheat (like it did today), i have to turn on the heater to let all the heat out of the engine compartment. That way the engine temp goes down.

It's pretty simple really. There are alot of scary things you might see ( chassis wiring harness) lol but its simple. When it comes time for you to do this please feel free to Pm me or use aim and i can walk you threw it. If I get bored I will do a DIY on this and send it to you and post it for others to use. Just got alot on my hands right now. But like i said, Feel free to contact me for any help
