I need help, i have a 98 civic dx with an automatic trans. So far my upgrades are an AEM CAI, Greddy evo exhaust, and a dc header meant for an ex, and a venom 400 PCM. i have a set of 17 inch Konig Rated R's and my car is slow as hell.
I have been thinking about a jackson racing s/c but i still have stock internals or maybe a swap to a b16.
I talked to a few people at ARD performance about getting a b16 for an auto trans and they told me i could get one done.
My friend has a 4dr dx (2000 year) with an AEM short ram, and a Greddy evo, but his car is a stick (and he was rollin' on stocks) and he beat me by a full car length.
Should I wait for the swap, or do what i can with the stock engine?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Honda autos suck for any kind of performance. You could get b16a with auto tranny. There are even some auto b18c's out there, but they are rare.
