SH to base

I have a 97 SH 5 speed. ATTS is shot. How can I bypass or get rid of ATTS?

get a base motor and a base tranny and swap it in. or there a way to get a base tranny to fit on the SH motor.

I think ATTS is causing some type of bindind, car will not move in gear most of the time and make clunking noise in neutral with clutch out.

I dont think it is your atts, because a normal 5g will run fine with atts unplugged.
