maybe you just need the jdm radiator(ef8)? since the fill/neck is recessed a little towards the firewall... maybe that will give you the extra clearance. I think the radiator supports are similar if not the same between a cr-x and a crx.

I used the usdm with no fitment problems at all no shimming needed. (my car did have front end damage before) But the ef8 one is the one that will work for sure. Your car must be whats out of wack if its not fitting correctly.

yeah but you also said you have had front end damage. I am not saying you didn't use yours. What i am saying is from personal experience and what alot of others are saying is that you can not use a USDM or EF8/9 T support to latch your hood

You need the 90-91 ef6, ef7 t-bar and everything bolts right up.

That picture does not do any justice. You are the very first CRX I know in many many years that DOES NOT have this problem. Unless you have an EF5,6,7 with SiR front T-bar or your car may have been bapped. The reason why I mentioned '88, is because, JDM CRX SiRs are actually 1988 CRX base chassis.

I'll check my shop if we have one. No guarantees because we usually get EF8s. I'll send you a PM.

Base chassis? They used the same chassis from 87 -91. The EF chassis.

Actually, they are base 88 EF CRXs, if you haven't noticed, the SiR seats will bolt straight onto 88-89 USDM CRXs and not 90-91 USDM CRXs.
