vision carbon fiber hatch problem
whats up guys i just picked up my vision carbon fiber hatch for my eg and when i opened it i saw something funny. there isn't any hole for the lock, its just all carbon fiber. so im guessing i have to cut it and make the hole? im not sure whats the best thing to use since i never have cut carbon fiber and im sure it can be delicate. this happened to anybody else?

haha but really- be careful when just using the inner lock. the yelow peice on the cables deteriorate and snap- leaving you the only option to go outside and use the lock lol

Use a dremel like mentioned with a small bit on it. The larger the bit the more chances of cracking. What cracks is not the carbon fiber. It's the resin. Use a dremel as a router and you will have no problems. If you try to drill a hole the size of your key cylinder, then that is where you start to have problems.

i would drill a hole and use a dremmel to slowly widen the hole.
