Default 94 accord ex when is v-tec suppose to hit

does anyone no what rpm v-tec is suppose to hit 94 accord ex all stock?

your doesnt quite hit...it's more like a light slap

it will engage between 2300 and 3200 rpm, depending on conditions. dont worry if you dont notice, its for fuel savings (acts almost like a 12 valve engine until vtec, when it behaves like a normal 16 valve engine)

wth type of post is this?

F22B1 in the 94-94 EX Model was Vtec
F22B2 in the 94-97 LX/DX did not

doing a head swap onto my f22a4 block, using wiseco pistons, n a fully ported n polished head n intake manifold, short ram intake , header, lsd, n a fidanza clutch, 5 angle valve job,

i should notice it with all that right?

yea i got a 90 accord dx,i put a 94 accord ex motor in it f22b1 it feels like it hits at almost 5 grand i can notice it compared to the other motor that did not have vtec

do some research...

it's been discussed before and from what I remember VTEC doesn't have a set RPM it kits in, it depends on variables such as rpm, oil pressure, throttle position, etc.
