Tien Springs on Stock SH Shocks
Sorry for the noob question but i've gotten very mixed opinions on if they will fit or not.

One member tells me that he put them on himself on stock SH shocks and they fit just fine.

It will fit, but it will probably blow your shocks out faster. I would wait to put them on until you can purchase some aftermarket shocks to go with them.
It depends on how long/short they are compared to the SH springs. The front SH springs are almost an inch longer than Base springs, with the perch being that much lower on the front shocks. Lowering springs will be even shorter than Base springs, so they'll compress the SH shocks 2"+. Don't count on them lasting very long if you pair them up like that.
You shouldn't use lowering springs with stock shocks as they will wear them out very quickly; but if you still really want to and can't afford aftermarket shocks, at least find a pair of front Base shocks.

Ive had my TEIN S-tech springs paired with my stock SH shocks for over 40K miles and 3 yrs later. And they drive like the first day I bought them.
It all depends on the driver on how careful they are about potholes, hard cornering, etc.

i agree with vinuneuro. your stock shock for sure are not performing like it used to. The gradually degrade so you don't feel the difference. put your shocks on a shock dyno and you can see how well it's actually working.
Well I just wanted a nice drop without spending much. I am satisfied with the way my car is performing even if it is gradually breaking down. And if they blow then Ill replace them, but in the mean time I still love the way it rides for having stock shocks.
