Default fuse power

i am good at car stuff but the electronic things. so i am not a complete idiot. so i have a question. i have 4 gauges oil pressure, volts, water temp, air fuel, and a shift light. can i run that all on one fuse? the gauges are all on one wire so they have to go together. but the shift light is seperate. the worse that can happen is i blow a fuse right? what would you do?

You HOPE thats the worst that can happen...heres another possible SCENARIO...
YOu wire all of these gauges and shift light to that one fuse, the fuse blows and triggers the wire to catch fire...wait...you do have a fire extinguisher in your car right?? KNEW IT...you dont....anyways...as soon as that wire catches fire, it'll start a chain reaction with whatever other wires are close, and then, you MIGHT not have a CAR anymore...just my thoughts and "WHAT IFS"...seen it happen b4. Just a WArning.

That could have been typed better, but essentially yeah, your car could burn to the ground.

I carry an estinguisher at all times rated for electronics which is the only kind you can use on wiring.

I would highly recommend investing in one.

what if i just run two off one fuse? it'll blow the fuse first right. i didn't put any bigger fuses in. and thats the job of a fuse it'll blow out before it catches on fire right?

go to a auto parts place and ask them for what i believe is a junction box its in the electrical section its a big square looking thing, that would work much better it will handle more and it will less likely catch on fire

YOu hope so...very un-predictable.

Would definately be a good idea...better solution, less risky.
