Default is my car leaking oil or some other type of fluid? found big puddle after pulling out.Broken AXLE?

okay heres the story.
i was at my friends house and i was leaving so my friend was outside bout to go in and i pulled out of the parking space. my friend yelled my name and i rolled my window down. and he said LOOK. and on the ground in the parking space looked to me like a fatttyyy puddle of oil and it was streaked out the way i reversed out of the parking spot. like it was leaking out as i moved back. i was so shocked.
i remember when i got my car checked out at honda in early november when i first bought it they said my axle or something has a small crack which eventually splits and oil or something will fly out everywhere . they said its very minor now but will eventually need a new axle or need to be fixed.
so then i thought it couldve been that?

but i know my car does leak a little bit of oil. i noticed a few drops on my driveway.

i also noticed 1 or 2 times that my exhaust spit out a little bit of blackish juice. liek oil?? but only have noticed it 1 or 2 times.

in 3-4 months im supposed to get a gsr swap but this seems pretty bad to me

let me know what you guys think?

thanks!

axles have grease in them not oil. its alot thicker than oil and wouldnt streak out of the driveway like you mentioned it would tend to gob up.....

park your car and see where the leak is coming from and also check your oil to see if in fact the leak is oil.

When you start your car and see the black fluid coming from your exhaust, its more than likely condensation running through the exhaust and the reason it is black is b/c of the sut in the piping

Pull your plugs to see if there is oil on them, that will show if there is oil getting in the combustion chamber.

As for the oil that you saw on the ground, If its from your axle its going to be alot thicker and has a certain smell to it. Jack your car up and look at your wheels/underbody to see if there is grease flying around under there. If you see some determine where from and you can fix your problem.

De_tour makes a good point ... but to add to it .. check the color of the oil subtence .... if its red-ish could be brake or trans fluid ... clear-ish to black motor oil ... (clearish if your using full syn oil and recently added it tho)

i hope you get your *** kicked so good for being a smart ***.

umm obviously im on here for a reason and im not a master mechanic okay? i dont have a jack and i aint about to go take my sub out and crap from my car to use that dinky one to change my tire.

the markings were all worn away on my dipstick.
i didnt know if it was oil or not.
so i took it to a good friend who works on hondas.
and i found out about this last night which was my last drive of the night. my engine light wasnt on this morning and my dipstick even tho the marks were gone looked like it was fine on oil. so i drove to school. and after school i take it down to my friends shop?

umm im not about to try and find out when its pitch black outside

i didnt have to write any of these but smart asses **** me off
