Default DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW SAFE WHEEL ADAPTERS ARE?!

OKAY, SO IM PLANNING ON CONVERTING MY 4X100 TO 4X114.3 SO I CAN USE MY JDM ITR WHEELS ON MY INTEGRA?

http://www.pandagarage.com/Int...r.htm

HOW SAFE DO YOU GUYS THINK THESE ARE?

ANYONE TRIED THEM...I TINK IF IM JUST NORMAL DRIVING IT WOULD BE OKAY, BUT IF I WERE RACING OR TAKING OFF HARD, WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

ANYONE FROM EXPERIENCE?!

THANKS

all these companies would not sell them if they were unsafe..just as long as you use the correct hardware to mount them and use them only for highway/regular street then i say they are fine. i personally used some for almost 3 years w/o any problems on my old truck and have plenty of my friends who have as well. just be aware of them and check on them every once in awhile that the bolts are seating correctly and tight. talk to jimmy at panda garage about them. he is very helpful.

Yea i would love to know some info on this as well..doesnt this give you a greater offset tho? someone told me that it would push out your wheel a little bit.

yes it will give it a lower offset but the wheel he has is like 50 offset(15x6?) i think and the adapter is 15mm so it will bring it down to about 35 offset which is not bad at all for a honda

do you know if they have adapters to convert 4x100 into 5x114.3?? the adapter from pandagarage says its a 20mm..i work at discount tire and most of the time they tell us not to mess with spacers..but then some of the managers have them?? i dont understand..if they are safe or not?

actually, the ones listed below are 20mm. the ones above are 15mm.. i know this because i asked him in person and looked at the actual ones he sells..

anyways..yes, they do have 4x100-->5x114 2 piece style adapter but they are very thick like 44mm and it will push out your wheel that much more..here are a few links w/ info in them:

http://www.hondamarketplace.co...83040

and this ebay link to get some for about $200 shipped:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...l1247

oh and discount tire sells new wheels so they rather have the customer purchase new then rather them get some spacer/adapters and make old wheels fit.. get it? like they want you to spend money...i mean.. i also recommend getting the right size and pattern wheel first but then i also have a 'make it fit' type attitude when it comes to after market stuff.
