Default Tokico "blues" vs. KYB GR-2 shocks

Ok, I know these aren't the best when it comes to shocks but it's all I really have to work with right now.

I'm planning on putting on Tein H-tech springs with one of those two shocks.

I've heard a lot of bad things about the Tokico blues though, but some good. And I hear the KYB GR-2 shocks are pretty much like stock shocks, which I dont mind since mine are almost gonna blow.

I would just like any input on either of these shocks from personal experience please. Thanks.

I had some Tokico blues a while back they started to leak oil very quickly. The car was lowered about 1.5", but that shouldn't have been enough to blow new shocks.

I have heard good things about GR-2s I know people like to use them on GM W-body cars if that matters at all...

I have had KYB's AGX shocks on stock springs in my car for two years and they still perform like new. Would recommend them to anyone. The difference between the 4 different damping settings is quite impressive. And it only takes a minute to adjust all four.

I havent really heard good things about the gr-2, unless all you really want is a straight up oem replacement, but I have the tokico blues with eibach pro-kit springs, and its almost blown after 6 months.

Tokico Blues with 5Zigen R-Rated Springs here...1.7" drop. Still rides like it did the day I installed them(a lil over a year ago). I would recommend it.

I have Tokico blues with eibach sportlines and I hate 'em. Way too bouncy. Going with ground controls and Konis asap. I'm self employed so tax time has put everything on hold till I find out how much The G-man wants. Plus my 500 other projects have drained me. Note too self: Do one thing at a time.

my gr2's and my neuspeeds felt like it was rock hard. my friends teins and skunk2 springs are bouncy as those inflatable jumping tents. My setup had me thinking i had all my shocks blown right after i installed them new. Very stiff. But that also has a large part to do with the race springs.
