New Tyre Installation
OK so for summer I want to get some new rubbers for my 600RR. Not that these ones are worn but I want to upgrade and this is the place to start. Haven't decided yet on which tyre to go with, but my question is; how much will I be charged if I bring the bike in and get the shop I bought the bike from and get them to change the rubbers for me?
Would it be better to just bring them the rims? Probably faster right?
Thanks HT

PS. Mooshoe, please no ZOMG WATER comments lol

AGUA!
Yeah, I always rim it to the shop, its faster and i dont trust any wrench monkey mugs around my bikes. also if you slip the installer a $20 he might slip you in sooner

Why don't you CALL THE SHOP and get a price. Easiest and quickest way to find out.
I think the average price for changing tires still on the bike is about $35 per tire. Off the bike. $15 + or -.
Your tires look almost brand new???

Thats probably not a recent pic...
Like was said, best bet is to just call a local shop. They will give you a better answer than anyone here.

What do you want that these tires arent doing? From the looks of your front tire, you arent using them hard enough to need more grip. Are they not wearing properly? Do you want more longevity? Do you not like the way to feel?
You cant (effectively) upgrade unless you have a goal in mind.

tyre, tire, same thing. actually there are more uptight people who prefer the spelling "tyre" than there are for the american spelling...

stickier rubber gets you street cred.

yeah that was at the beginning of the season before i had gotten the feel for the bike i just added the pic to be a *****/get thread attention
I liked the feel of the tires on a really hot day, they just seemed to be smoother and grippier, but they only seemed like that on the hottest days of summer. just thought I would upgrade to something that would be easier to warm up and plus changing the tires to see if i like the feel better isn't such a bad idea i think.
