Okay so I change my oil at 6:00 pm and about an hour ago I head into work.

I turn the radio off and check for any weird noises. I notice Im hearing a lot of water splooshing around under my wheel, a noise that was never so clear until right now.

I park and take a look down under my driver side front wheel well and I notice that my black fender guards are now torn to shreds starting from the bottom??

I swear they were in tact when I was under there changing my oil and I dont remember running into anything on the way to work..... what the heck did I do??

Anyone know how much that rubber guard cost??

 

You mean the plastic peice that goes around the inside of the fender? If you you can pick them up at honda for like $10 i think, but dont quote me. The same thing happen to me.

 

If you are talking about the wheel well cover that is under your fender, then those are like 10 bucks -- really cheap. If you are talking about the splash guards that come on some civics, just take 'em off.

as for the wheel wells, mine ripped out going over 100 mph
i got new ones, but don't like how they lookin there lol

Yeah I just went ouside with some scissors and cut off all that was shredding off. So I dont look too ghetto.

$10 bucks only?? bout time something came cheap from the dealer..

 

yeah the clips that hold them in place give after a while, all that hold them in are plastic clips so you might wanna pic up some new ones too. They were like 35 cents a peice or something like taht.
