Default Will 19" wheels fit?

I've been looking for 17's for some time, but haven't had much luck. I found some 5x114.3 et38 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 wheels and wondered if they would fit. (et38 is positive offset? I don't know, that's how it was listed. ) Is there anybody out there rolling 19's? Also, pm me if you are selling your wheels in the Seattle area.

how do you not have luck? 17's are the most popular size for s2k's and with the right offset.
where are you searching from?
imo 19's would not be a good choice, you lose too much thread, you will have to deal with a smaller width wheel, your ride will be too harsh, you will scrape the your wheel wells

17 is the most popular size, if you cant find a decent 17's you can't find anything.

38et on 9.5 is going to be a night mare.

my 9 inch rear is 63et(positive)

Mine is 65 and I'm running a 265 tire, and I'm slammed, and no issues at all.

I know, It's ridiculous, but the price made me wonder. My tires are brand new so I have plenty of time to wait for a perfect set. Chrome chain steering wheel, hydraulics and neon next.

I've seen 18's rub but there is a guy down here in Miami running 19s so it is doable. He does complain a lot because the ride is horrible.

They are Racing Sparcos. 6 brand new and unmounted for a killer deal. I didn't mention the brand earlier for fear of hijack. I don't want them anymore now that I know they will rub. I found some 18's that will fit for sure. Thanks all for the input.

You guys are right. 19s are WAY too big. If you run 19s you're going to have to roll your fenders, run crazy camber, skinny tires, and your car is going to ride like crap. They're heavy too so they'll slow your car down a lot.

By the way, here're some pictures of my car. These are 19x8.5 with a 235/35 tire on front and 19x10.5 with a super narrow 275/30 tire on back. I haven't modified my bodywork AT ALL, I'm running within stock alignment specs, I have ZERO rubbing issues, and the wheels are about 4 lbs LIGHTER than stock.

The sizes mingus mentioned would not fit. However, the same statement cannot be made about all 19s. perhaps it is some of YOU who should be doing a little research.

your HRE's are ballin man...but i still feel 18 is the biggest we should go on the S, it's a good compromise between looks and performance.

I won't argue with that. 18s are a good all around compromise. I still have my stock wheels whenever I want to track the car and those will be replaced soon with some super light weight track only wheels with R compound rubber.

I just wanted to clarify that you CAN run a 19' wheel safely, without adversely affecting the performance of the car.

19" = way too large. The farme just doesnt look right, you can put a 19" on a vw dub and it goes great, just not the s2
