Here's a link to the route for the cruise:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms...&z=10
WHERE: D&B at 183 and Mopac/Loop 1
WHEN: Start meeting around 11:00, grab some food, start the cruise around 1:00PM
WHAT: bring what you want, I'm not your mommy
There's plenty of decent food in the vicinity if anyone wants to eat before the cruise. We'll start the cruise sometime between 1 and 2 and stop half-way at Mansfield Dam. If anyone wants to BBQ, that'll be the place to do it. From there it's on to Lime Creek Rd and after that....????
Nothing is set in stone and I'm always open for good ideas.

I'm down. I say we meet at Galveston, and just watch the fireworks....
Or lets go to some giant parking lot and light some.
I wanna light fireworks this year.
'08 with a BANG!
Idk, lol. What is there to do in Austin?

This past year we met at a parking garage downtown and took an hour long cruise through the hill country. Fun roads
We ended up at a local park where had it been July 4th as planned, there would have been a huge fireworks display. But since it was the 15th, we just BBQ'd and had a good time hangin out.

that park last year was nice but too small.(parking wise) Everything has grown so far so there are many new places. I say we should do a drive then occupy a relatively big lot where resturants/ fast food joints are, so you dont get caught up with makig eevryones food. Which isnt a problem, but you wont have to worry about how much to make and worry about people not eating.

Very true, though I didn't mind making the food last year. But the consensus last year was that leaving a large number of "highly" modified vehicles in a parking lot was kind of scary. But if everyone's down for something like that, it makes it a lot easier.

well i mean where your cars are visible, we used to do it in the shopping center where gattiland and pokejoes where. It really wasnt a problem then, you could see eveything from inside the establishments. I guess that could be a bigger issue though.

i can always paint them for you.. i really love them....
heres how she sits now.

i can go probably an inch and a half lower in the front, and go straight to hell on the back. They are good for DD. Not Too bouncy but not too harsh. I think they are perfect for a DD

mines can go that low, that guy in the silver ej8 wasnt as low as iridedumped. He is from houston. He was on omni's, skunk2 and omni are pretty much the same thing. I could actually lower it so that i would be tucking rim but with a 8inch wheel its kind of hard to do that without a camber kit.
