HOW TO INSTALL A JDM EF8/9 SiR (88-91 Civic/CR-X) GAUGE CLUSTER
Information taken from http://b16a.honda-perf.org/cluster.html is a dead link and yes I have been searching all over the web and on this forum, searhcing with EF 9 cluster and JDM cluser. I looked at all but they are for si-r cluster ect. I have a 91 JDM ef9 cluster and want to put it in my 91 hf CRX. I have some of it done from some web finds like marklamond web site but some of his wire colors and pins are different from others I have found. Also no one has the "D" connector the crx car pic with doors open wire diag. Any help would be great. Like I said I have some done but not all. seriously you admitted no offensive but come on don't give up on the noobs help them out they need more help. Help me help them

 

1) Get a factory manual for your car to check the pinouts/wiring diagrams/wire colors.

2) Use a wiring diagram for the SiR cluster or do what i did and make your own diagram by tracing the green sheet on the back of the cluster.

3) Mate the two then slap yourself silly because it wasn't rocket science (I'm studying that right now at school actually).

4) Grab yourself a beer and bask in the JDM bling .

Thanks RockinthEFhatch for the web link , yes thats the one I was talking about besides MarkLamonds site...none of the web links have the small crx car warning cluster (right hand side of the ef9 cluster)with open doors , trunk , door chime ect. Your post was appreciated...all others who just be simple @sses just remember you were once noobs and trial members. This post was searched by the word cluster and also Si-R cluster and ef9 cluster, I did sift through every post , yes every post. That link http://b16a.honda-perf.org/cluster.html I asked for is a dead link yet it is still posted on every Honda board. All I wanted is if anyone saved it to a web archive to repost it. Now I have done some of the wireing by trial and error , I have several print outs from various web sites all contradict each other by wire colour and pin number. Most of the cluster is working. Again does any one have the post http://b16a.honda-perf.org/cluster.html saved in a web archive to repost as a sticky in the ef CRX & Civic FAQ Version 2.0 Do It Yourself and Misc.*SiR Instrument Cluster Wiring on this board because its dead

 

I have found this http://crx.hacki.st/gauge-cluster.html it seems to list the small crx car in the bottom right side and looks good...I will try this one and let you know how I make out.
