OEM door panel patches and Civic and Crx door panel logo's anyone interested?
Just thought I would see what you guys think...
We all hate especially on the 90-91 Civic and Crx the door panel blemishes from the door mounted seatbelt causing havoc on them. Some people like me don't want to spend $400 on new door panels. I am thinking of getting some patch pieces made that would wrap around the main area where the blemishes occur.
It would obviously have to be clean follow the contour and not be too noticable maybe between the transition of the new material and old a round bead. Different colors.
The 88-91 Civic and Crx Dx/Std/Ex/HF have that un used middle section unlike the Civic/Crx Si door panels which have that neat carpeted logo...
It would obviously have to be clean and like the OEM and fit good in it's prevision and maybe also have a round bead around it. Different colors and possibly adding your own text besides the Civic and Crx logo in the middle would be nice.

sign me up for that for sure, The door panels that I have were painted over and now are hard as rocks. So I would like to get a replacement for sure.
When I get some time in the next couple days I will make some outlines to show and I will see if I can get the same guy that re did my Crx Si seats to make some prototypes and hopefully from there be able to if possible and enough people are interested see if we can get the Del Sol tunning to make them
I dont know if anyone buddy else feels this way but id kinda like to have a patch area rather then the hole top part of the OEM door panel re done... still keepin some what of the OEM vinyl door look

Let me know if you guys want. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Only issue with that is that if you did the top part only id imagine it would be darn impossible to get the same color of vinyl or cloth to match the top part grey of the dash on a black and grey interior...

I have been wondering how I could patch those nasty tears in my panels. Not too appealing when the door is swung open.
