Make a piece of 4'x4' round cardboard and attach each of these options written on a piece of paper. Then, get a dart. If you're not good at darts I recommend two.

Throw the dart.

1) turbo what you have
2) swap a b18b and turbo that
3) b18c1 + bolt ons
4) b18c5 + bolt ons
5) b20/vtec
6) h22a
7) h23vtec
8) k20a2
9) k20z3
10) k24/a2 hybrid
11) h2b with your choice of b-series transmission
12) f23 turbo
13) f22 with a cam/bolt ons (gsr like numbers and more torque)
14) f20c with a custom adapter plate for a fwd tranny.
15) f20b with the h2b kit
16) b18b vtec + bolt ons/cams etc
17) b16b stock or with some minor bolt ons/cams tuning
18) b16 - good rod/stroke ratio, revy torqueless wonder. Short gears
19) b17a - similar to the gsr motor but with a cable tranny

There you go, the appropriate answer for Honda-Tech's vaguest question of the year.

hahah.

Seriously, though, OP...be more descriptive of your condition. What do you consider fast? what are your goals? what type of racing? is reliability a concern? Do you know how to use a wrench? If so, how well? ETC. ETC.
