ummm high-tension wires = those large cables you see transporting gigawatts (ha!, I said gigawatts!) of power overhead on the huge space frame structures.

I'm assuming you're referring to some low-resistance, triple shielded, 10mm, silicone whatnot spark plug wires with grounding straps and a prize at the bottom of the box, which, if the rest of your car is stock, or isn't boosted, or is only lightly modified won't do a darn thing for you.

Oh, and if you're really referring to high tension wires and they have been placed in your engine bay, don't touch them, call the power company

"High-tension wires" is nothing more than the term that some companies (including Honda) use to describe spark plug wires. Assuming your wires are in good condition, you won't see any real gain from switching to expensive wires.

Sorry, my fault for having fun at someone else's expense - I'm especially lame considering that English may not be his native language (hindsight is 20/20). My apologies.

meh...i lol'd....more of an lqtm, but still an "L".

as for the op, no. putting super-duper-uber spark plug wires in your (most likely stock) car will net you nothing.
