Default Im so confused!!!

Im so confused. i need a reliable plumbing diagram for a obd0 b16a out of an integra xsi with a itr intake manifold and stock b16 throttle body. every single one i pull up is different. like gsr, type r, and 99-00 si they all have different coolant lines going to different places. i could really use any info on this problem. thanks
oh yea and the motor is in a 1990 crx si.

I have the exact same B16 XSi motor in my 90 CRX Si....All you need to do is follow the diagram from a 90-93 Intregra for coolant and the stock CRX Si vaccum lines and you're golden

No, it should be the same unless you're using the ITR throttle body and you'll have the MAP sensor mounted on top of the throttle body versus it being on the firewall for the stock CRX motor.

you won't be able to use your FITV that is fitted on your OBD0 intake manifold. That will give you issues while starting your car up and letting it idle in cold weather.

Reason for that is the ITR intake manifold doesn't use the FITV at all.

To answer your questions it stands for Fast Idle Throttle Valve I believe.

I'm glad to hear that it ran good without it in your other car though, I'm putting together a B16A head with an ITR intake manfiold as well. I'm converting it to OBD1 though so maybe that's the issue I'm gonna have to worry about.

tip:

see where those coolant lines come out of the block... then to the FITV (Fast Idle Thermal Valve)... then to the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve)... then back to the block?

cap that exit and entrance to the block with vacuum caps and small hose clamps.

then as far as vacuum.. you got two lines on the manifold.. one to the brake booster, one to the fuel pressure regulator. cap anything else. on the throttle body you got one that sticks straight out toward the intake... run that one to the map, cap everything else.

Thanks also,

Im supposing this will allow one to run the ITR intake manifold without the FITV without having the cold start issues?
