Whats so bad about it? Some people have a vague outlook on their car and need opinions's before doing something. Maybe he was iffy on the color combination(hence, this thread) and needed backup from the h-t community. How would you feel if you installed something on your car and you thought it was awesome and everyone around started putting you down on it. You would feel like crap and wished you would have done what this guy is doing. Cut him some slack man.

^^ Exactly, there's been plenty of times when I've been unsure about what kind of wheels would look better or what seats to get etc.
When it comes to AC, that's what matters most of the time, people care that other people think their car looks cool to other people. Not just themselves.

I would feel good if I installed something on my car and I thought it was awesome and everyone around that started putting me down can suck a fat one! I would feel good becuase its my car and i'm not doing it for everyone else's approval.

Gimme a break. There's so many closet ricers around. People that thing altezzas and neons are THE ****...but wont put them on for fear of being clowned. I'm not saying you're one of them. I'm just saying that it DOES matter what people think. That's why people wear shirts to cover their hairy backs or pants/trucks/camaros that cover their small *****.
On the flipside, though, OP: maybe just ask people who have similar interests as you. You never know who is going to reply on here. What if someone who thinks that the ronald Mcdonald paint scheme looks great replies "PAINT THAT **** YELLOW AND RED ALL DAY!!". That'd be a poor decision to most people.
If you see someone's car that you LOVE aesthetically, ask them. You dont have to fade them by getting the same **** they have...but the premise is that their taste is probably similar to yours. If they say it'll look good, chances are you might think it will look good as well.
I really only ask close friends whom I am sure are NOT ricers about what would look good. There's friends that have different taste from me...I dont ask them **** lol. Whatever. My stuff always looks great. I'm the neighborhood superhero 6 or 7 years and counting.
