How Tall Are You S2000 Owners?
The reason why I'm asking is because today I went to a local dealer and sat down in one. I'm 6'2" with a medium build and I did not fit, plus my knees were hitting the steering wheel. I took me by surprise that a guy my size couldnt fit. I was actually looking into a used s2000, but after sitting in one, I'm no longer sure.
I am 6'6" - 220lbs. The fit is snug. I have trouble reaching the mirror controls/window controls w/ the door shut. Getting in and out of the car is the hardest part for me, but once I am inside the vehicle I am fine. I have plenty of headroom as well even w/ the top up. I probably have a good five -or- six inches from the top of my head to the actual roof. My legs are about two inches from the dash, and I cannot fully extend my legs (in order to stretch).
I love the car though ...I'm glad I purchased one.
EDIT: I hope this was the type of answer you were looking for instead of: "I'm X'X" tall and Xlbs. and I fit."

Not that it helps your dilema any, but I'm 5'7", weigh 120 lbs, and I feel retarded sometimes b/c the back of the drivers seat doesn't even come close to the roll bar -- prolly has a 3-4" gap.
I'm 5'5" and fit fine. (duh) Another owner I know is well over 6ft and he seems to fit fine too. It's his daily driver too, at least when there's not a foot of snow on the roads anyway.

6'2 should still be fine, but if you are really sold on the car a simple mod should fix your issues. Swap the driver's seat with an aftermarket seat with low/side mount rails and a thinner bucket.
i'm 6'2, 195, and there is a ton of legroom and headroom in my s2k. the elbow room is not what i am used to though. it's not bad but i can't drive with my elbows out the way i did in my prelude.
I am 6'2 and 205, and the car fits me perfectly. The only problem I have is checking out stop lights when I am first in line and the top is up.
Hey man ...the other day at a carlot my brother gotta ACCORD and i was just roaming the lot lookin at hondas and i spotted a y ellow S2k and i sat in it, and i TOO are 6"2 and about 230-240lbs and my knees hit the steering wheel. I was very disapointed, i reached to scoot back the seat and it was already all the way back! My heart broke because i've always wanted one ever since one burned my cocky cousin in his GT MUSTANG.LOL But now my dream is slowly fading away...Maybe i'll just cut my feet off.HMMM.........NEWAYS everything else was fine though. I loved the way i just sank into the seat and my neck was at door level and i got that TOTAL COCKPIT feeling.I will never buy one though if i can't even drive one.My knees hit the steering wheel and i couldn't be able to shift and i would have a hell of a time trying to brake without flyin off the road..SUCKS! I guess that's why NISSAN invented the SKYLINE though...LOL
I do not own an S2k but I have driven them before. I am 6'3", 180 lbs and I fit fine. My knees did not hit the stering wheel but they were very close. I loved driving the car and my height would not keeping me from buying one if I wanted to. You might want to try to adjust the way you position your legs while sitting inside the car. That might be your problem but them again it might not.
