I have an old McCulloch HID kit from my Civic Si which used H4 size bulbs. I was wondering how (if at all) I can get the kit to be used for my RSX foglight size H11? I obviously have to buy H11 size bulbs, but I believe the connection is different. Is there anywhere that sells the clips to use the H4 kit on a H11? or do I just need to buy a whole new H11 kit? I was looking around Xenon Depot.com to see if they sold anything, couldnt find anything.

if the clips are different with the bulbs and ballast, you could always just splice the wiring together. That's what I had to do when I put H3 bulbs in my fog lights on my Prelude

Did it turn out okay? no probs. w/ it at all? I might have to do the same thing with my headlights. I am trying to run a couple of ballast with my 98 civic and have to figure out how to wire everything.

works great and no problems at all.

 

glad i found this...i was wanting to do the same and wasnt sure if it would mess the ballast up...

 

You should just have to buy H11 bulbs and an H11 wiring harness the rest you can reuse.

 

its no the clips from the bulb to the ballast. it is the connection from the ballast to the car. The H4 looks like a plug you would plug into your house outlet, while the H11 is alot smaller clip connector

 

when you buy bulbs they will come with the low side connectors that match them... typically buy taichang ie supervision bulbs and they will have what you need to plug n play
