Default Stock Civic Radio

Im trying to remove the face off a stock 98 civic radio, but it seems like it wont budge without it cracking. Any tips? Thanks.

Wait.. What??

You do realize that stock radios are not detachable face units, right?

What you can do? Are you able to obtain replacement parts and install said parts?

Probably the only thing you can do is buy another radio on eBay and install it.

In order to get it out, use a bigger pry bar. It'll snap out. j/k.... Seriously, go here: http://www.installdr.com/Insta...3.pdf

Remove the stereo from the car and you will see how to remove the face. There are lots of little clips surrounding it. I've removed them before and it's not all that hard if you take your time.

sounds like you need to get either another stock stereo with the theft code or buy an aftermarket stereo. My advice is to go with an aftermarket stereo.
