I had the same problem in my 95 civic, check to make sure that you did not break the circuit anywere. Also check that all of the light sockets are making a connection to the board.

same problem here..bought it used..current set up is dc2 cluster conversion..plug the conversion back in and it got light..
plug the eg cluster in and dont' have light..so it's not the dimmer switch or fuse or wiring, checked all of those already..could cluster be faulty?? replaced all bulbs too..no goodl
here are some pics:

do u guys see anything that's out of place?? or something is wrong?? i don't know anything about this back circuit thingy..

it's not the dimmer switch because my other cluster light up just fine..

look at my last picture..to the right of the top corner #24 bulb, right under it to the right a little u can see a split int the copper contact..would that be the cause?? would it be ok to solder it back?? or do i need a new copper plate?? i have close up picture of it but didn't upload them to photobucket so couldn't post it up.

I can't see close enough to see this split from the picture. Maybe you can check the continuity with a digital volt meter to see for sure if that is the problem before you solder? You will have to touch an exposed area at bulb mount area and the other end of that trace somewhere the copper is exposed...

Check the fuses, If the fuses are good pull the cluster and test for voltage at the cars harness, if no voltage present check dimmer switch.

so how would my gsr cluster still light up and this doesn't?? my car is a 95 civic lx..i did gsr cluster conversion and it work..been using this cluster for months..now i have gsr cluster harness AND stock eg cluster harness all hooked up..meaning i wired up the stock eg harness and on top of that i have the gsr cluster harness tapped onto that so i can switch back and forth with cluster..

if u guy said the meter fuses are blown then how come my gsr cluster still lights up and my eg cluster doesn't??

here's some close up pics..

see the split now?? can it be solder for contact?? i just don't understand, if this is the cause, how one split could cause the entire back light to not work..

THAT IS RIGHT BY THE SUPPLY FOR THAT CIRCUIT. JUST SOLDER A PIECE IF WIRE ACROSS THE GAP.

(SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS)
